intends to sign distribution agreements with individuals who desire to own their own retail seed business. If you are interested in a career in seed sales and have the desire to build your own seed business in an exclusive multi-county territory,
this may be the opportunity you have been looking for.
The ProHarvest brand of corn and soybean seed is marketed exclusively by Genetic and Trait Specialist, independent contractors that work exclusively for their seed customers. Because of the competitive nature of the seed industry this should not be considered a part time job or a stepping-stone to another job. A successful Genetic and Trait Specialist can expect to be highly valued by your customers and by ProHarvest of Missouri. The income opportunity will be better for a successful Genetic and Trait Specialist than a Seed District Sales Manager or Coop salesperson, plus you will be building equity in your business while you are self employed.
ProHarvest of Missouri has the infrastructure for maintaining quality inventory, tracking inventory, customer recordkeeping, royalty reporting, warehousing, shipping, and product testing. We have access to 15 genetic providers, 5 trait providers and 6 seed treatment providers so you can focus your time on developing customers. After successfully launching the ProHarvest Brand in your area, the Genetic and Trait Specialist will be expected to invest in warehousing and equipment to support the needs of their customers.
ProHarvest of Missouri is owned by Mike Resor of Chillicothe and Clyde Burchett of Higginsville, Missouri. Both own their own seed distributorships and serve as Genetic and Trait Specialist for their local areas. We
wish to add additional Genetic and Trait Specialist to focus on the following Missouri areas.
